I have recently gotten my first 3D printer and have been having fun with it. I got the Voxelab Aquila 3D Printer from Amazon. The printer comes with a small amount of PLA filament, an SD Card and a scrapper. It took some trial and error to figure out how to get the printer to print right. The SD card comes with a few files loaded into the SD Card to print. I have printed out the “test hook” so far out of those. There are websites available where you can download things to print on your 3D printer. The ones I have used are Printables and Thingiverse. I am using Cura for slicing and adding the files to the SD card that came with my printer.
My Review
This is a good printer for beginners. It was easy to assemble. I found the process of putting the printer together to be straightforward and hassle-free. However, one area that could be improved is the labeling of the hardware. It would be helpful if the hardware was clearly labeled, as it would eliminate any confusion during assembly. On the bright side, the instructions for wiring were concise and easy to follow, and the wires were properly labeled. Overall, this printer is a great choice for those new to 3D printing.
